This week has been a long week. My partner and I spent much of the time moving from my Nan’s into a room that we’re renting. Writing hasn’t happened all that much, because it has been tiring moving my furniture and some of my books, but next week should be much better.

I ended the auction. It seems to have been a failed experiment this time, but I think I’ll test the whole thing out a couple more times before I give up on auctions entirely. One person bidded on one item, so I just have to wait and see whether it works out. Anyone have any ideas on how I can make the auction more interesting to more people?

As I said before I will be writing all the stories I had on offer and posting them on the donor filter. That will be started once I’ve caught up with stories I have outstanding from the beginning of the year and done some more of the 100 stories.

Yeah, moving is exhausting.

Well ... it got one new money action, which is pretty good considering that participation in that has been low in general. If you had a bunch of donors and none of them responded, then I'd consider it a failure. I'd say try it again in 6 months or so, see if there's any improvement.

I'm not sure. I'm not really into auctions myself, although this kind is actually a better match for me than most other kinds.
