Call for prompts is now ENDED.

From now until 9pm BST on the 1st of September I am open for prompts for any of my current collections. This can be a story you'd like to see continued, a story you'd like to see written, a character you'd like to see for the first time or more of, or even simply one word prompts that I can turn into stories. If you haven't prompted me before then I have an ebook available of everything I wrote last time I called for prompts that is free to download, so have a look if you'd like to see what I write. The first 500 words will be free and then each 500 words after this will be £1.50, up to a limit of £12.00 for 4000 words.

For every 5 prompts I receive I will post one piece of bonus material.

Anyone who prompts will be entered into a draw to win a chance to name a character in a collection that will be chosen at random. I will number my collections and then chose a number using a random number generator. For every £3.00 donation you will get another chance to win the draw and if I receive 6 donations from different people then there will be two chances to win available (the same person will not be eligible to win twice). If I receive £30 during the call for prompts then I will upgrade this to a chance to name a character in a collection of the winner's choice.

Anyone who signal boosts my call for prompts and hasn't already signal boosted this month will be entered into a draw to receive a story of their choice which will be at least 1000 words long.

If anyone finds a typo in anything that I write during this call for prompts then they will be able to choose whether they would like to receive a month of character adoption at the lowest level for free, receive on free piece of fiction based on a prompt of their choice, or have a piece of bonus material posted.

Donor House: I have a lot of ideas for this series, so I'll try to present them in a logical order. I think a good next step (or continuation of) the origin story would be a discussion of predatory vs. symbiotic lending practices as the vampires try to figure out what to model their blood exchange upon.

Afterlife: One of the hard things about adjusting to the afterlife, if you still have your most recent life's memories, is letting go. I'd like a story exploring that.

Deities World: How do they deal with worship and expectations from their devotees?

I've written two continuations for the 'the Beginning of the Donor House': http://kajones-writing.livejournal.com/22700.html and http://kajones-writing.livejournal.com/22818.html. What you said before made me think and the first one was something I came up with before prompts day.

Then there's: http://kajones-writing.livejournal.com/23234.html, for the Deities World collection; and this: http://kajones-writing.livejournal.com/23420.html for the Afterlife collection.

These are all good stories! Thank you for sharing. I'll make sure to share these with my audience.
