This year, because I don’t have enough to do, I will once again be attempting NaNoWriMo. The last time I did it, which I think was in 2010, I finished the novel I was writing in 9 days (although there was a minor set-back with the word count because nothing ever matches) and I know I’m not going to be able to do that again. I’m working on a story plotted by Elizabeth Barrette called ‘the Case of the Conterfeit Enchantments’. It’s a World Walkers story for Quiar.
As well as writing this novel I’m going to be writing stories for the Fae World, as next month that is my focus, as well as continuing to write for the Donor House and World Walkers collection, because I still have a lot of stories I want to write for those two collections. Then December, as well as being Advent Story month, is going to be story month in general, where I attempt to write as many stories as possible for all the collections and post them.
I also have a load of credit commissioned stories to finish and one paid commission that I want to get done by the end of the month, so I have a lot to do. James’ work schedule is going to be all over the place, which means I’m going to have to learn to write when I have a chance, rather than knowing exactly when I’m going to have time to do things. It’s going to be an interesting couple of months.
